My favorite aspect of this project was making the actual drips on the keys and door knob. My least favorite aspect was creating the highlights. It took longer than I thought it would to choose the best subject for my interpretation of this project. If I did this project again, I would apply more drips to more of the keys in the photo. I am most proud of the effect that I gave on the keys. They really look like they are dripping while they are hanging there. I believe the class is going very well for me. It isn't taking very long at all for me to finish projects :].

Chocolate Frog

It took longer than I thought it would to find a picture that would work well with this project. I am most proud of how I cropped the puppy and was able to give his mouth, collar, and eyes their original color back. I think I did very well with my creativity in this project because I chose a different liquid to work with and had to find my own perfect color for it. My favorite aspect of this project was creating the drips and giving the parts of the subject the original color back. I think it made this project come to life even more so. My least favorite aspect was choosing a picture because it was pretty difficult to find a really good one. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this project at an 8 because it was a very interesting experience turning a normal frog into a frog covered in chocolate and turning a normal puppy into a puppy covered in wine.

Pop Art

I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was to turn a photo into pop art. I am most proud of the colors that I chose to work with. They fit the style of the work well, I think. If I did this project again, I would chose a subject with lighter hair so I could show more of that aspect. My finished project turned out well and interesting, just like I thought it would. I'm starting to like this class more and more because the projects are so cool, interesting, and fun to do.

Square Fruit

I was not expecting it to be so difficult to make a shadow for my square tomato. I had to match the color of the other shadows the best I could. It definitely took longer than I thought it would. The shading was difficult to create and the highlights were difficult to place because of the photo I chose. I am most proud of the shape I gave my subjects and the way my apple turned out. I think I was a bit creative with this project by placing it back into the photo that I got the subject from. So far, the class seems to be going well for me. I enjoy altering photos and turning them into something even more interesting.
